Special Education Advisory Committee

One of our Board's regulatory committees is the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC). This committee provides advice on special education. SEAC is made up of school board trustees and representatives of local associations that further the well-being of groups of exceptional children or adults.

  • Community Living - Durham North;
  • Community Representative;
  • Cystic Fibrosis Canada - Durham Chapter;
  • Durham Down Syndrome Association;
  • Grandview Children's Centre;
  • Kinark Child & Family Services;
  • Learning Disabilities Association - Durham;
  • Resources for Exceptional Children and Youth - Durham Region;
  • Views for the Visually Impaired; and
  • VOICE for the Hearing Impaired.
